I am in my second year of teaching Special Education at the same school that Aurelia had originally helped me find a position at. I never would have thought that I would be teaching special needs, but Aurelia was able to arrange virtual meetings for me to chat with Special Education teachers to give me a better idea of what the job might look like. Being able to have these conversations really solidified my decision to teach at a Special Education school. Aurelia also really helped to lessen my stress and worries about the whole process in terms of moving to another country. I really appreciate the effort that they put in to ensure that we’re taking all the steps to set ourselves up for success in a new city, including introducing us to other Aurelia teachers to build our communities and feel more connected. I am excited for what the future may hold with all the opportunities that I have been given!
