I began working with Aurelia in December 2020 after deciding to teach in London and consulting with a few different overseas teaching companies. Aurelia quickly became the obvious choice for their caring and professional nature and their clear investment in me as a teacher. Teaching overseas has been challenging but just as rewarding, providing me with experiences that will support me in my future classrooms and teaching experiences.

The school that I work with has supported me in my transition and has worked closely with Aurelia to ensure a successful first couple terms. I am excited to continue my contract and enjoy another year here. Additionally, Aurelia has an extensive network of current and former teachers who are welcoming and ready to help you navigate your new life abroad, providing guidance from everything from grocery shopping and banking to understanding the uk curriculum. I currently live with three other Aurelia teachers and they have quickly moved from roommates to life long friends.

This year has been unprecedented at the best of times but figuring out how to move across the world and start teaching in a new country with out the guidance and care of Aurelia Education would have been nearly impossible.
