In September 2020 I began working as a PE Teacher at a London Primary School, and have just begun my second year with the school. I have really valued the opportunity to work as a PE specialist immediately upon graduating from university in Canada and have also thoroughly enjoyed having the chance to teach all Year Groups throughout the school. This experience has been immensely valuable to my professional development, and I am very grateful to Aurelia for supporting me in finding a teaching position which aligns so perfectly with my personal skills and interests.

At the end of the 2020-21 school year, I was promoted into a leadership position within my school which has provided me with the opportunity to develop our PE curriculum, oversee the PE program throughout the school, and mentor other PE teachers. I truly appreciate being offered this leadership position at such an early stage of my career, and feel confident in saying that such an opportunity would not have been available to me in Canada. I envision myself staying at my current school long-term and look forward to building a fulfilling teaching career for myself in London. Big thanks to Aurelia for making it all possible!
