Looking to teach in England? Aurelia is the agency you want to be a part of. Before making the decision to move to England, I was approached by many UK agencies, but Aurelia stuck out among them for the level of commitment that was made to make sure that I was looked after as an individual - before and after arrival. Prior to leaving Canada, I was introduced to a number of teachers that I would be working with, so even upon moving to a new country, I never felt like I was on my own.

Teaching anywhere is not easy. You have likely heard the rumors about the difficulty of teaching in England specifically, and I will tell you they are true. It is hard. That said, I wouldn't trade my time here for anything. Even though I only arrived in February of 2015, I feel like I've gained years of experience that have helped me grow as an educator and a person. I owe a lot of that to the level of community that Aurelia encourages and cultivates in the teachers they hire.

I did my undergrad in English at Kings University College at UWO, and completed my Graduate Diploma in Secondary education at University of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland Australia. I'm currently teaching English to years 7-11, and loving the journey!
