I remember when I walked into my Year 5 classroom for the first time in 2016. I was nervous yet excited, and very unsure of what to expect. However, the friends I made through Aurelia assured me everything would be alright! Without their guidance, support and love, I wouldn’t be where I am today! After teaching in England for a year, I was hired as an Occasional Teacher for my local board. I had two LTOs in Grade 5, in which I used many ideas and activities I picked up in England. This summer, I got my first permanent position with my school board, teaching Grade 8. Although it’s a new grade for me, my experiences with Aurelia will make me ready for anything!
